Commonly Asked Questions -

Why are your prices so low?

Because we offer "gang run" style printing, we are able to offer lower prices than our competition. We print the day's orders on a 20"x26" or 28"x40" sheet and cut the jobs apart in order to reduce the costs of making plates and other fixed setup charges. Does your job need special attention? No problem! We can do extras such as perforations, folding, scoring, binding, die-cutting, and more!

Do you offer standard non gang-run style printing?

Many of our customers need the highest quality materials with all the bells and whistles for their campaign and may have special needs or requests. For these types of jobs we have exclusive relationships with traditional print vendors to handle these needs for us. With traditional printing methods your wait time and setup costs are usually much higher because your job is individual, however you can have exactly what you choose in any fashion you like. If you are interested in this type of printing please contact us directly to obtain pricing.

What do you print?

Some of our clients use our printing services for: Promotional Brochures, Event Flyers, Restaurant Menus, Realtor Postcards, Tickets, Handbills, Clothing Tags, Business Cards, Posters, Point of Sale Signage, Photo Reproduction, Zed Cards, Instruction Booklets, Monthly Periodicals, Tri-Folds, Record Flats, and More!

What is the difference between Aqueous coating and UV coating?

Aqueous coating is water based and environmentally friendly. It is not a glossy as UV but it also is not detrimental to the environment. UV coating is a chemical based coating that takes longer to dry but has a much higher gloss than Aqueous. The post office will not accept UV coated postcards because you can not print or write on UV coating. It's very close to a laminated look and is popular amongst club flyers and corporate presentation pieces. We cannot turn UV print jobs in less than 48 hours due to the fact that it takes longer to dry.

How can I send you a print job?

You can contact us directly to make arrangements to send us your artwork or you may feel free to email us your files at printart@innersightdzinestudio.com - We are currently in the process of building an online submission area so please be patient.

Can you print jobs that are different sizes than you have listed?

Yes we can! Choose the next size larger than your art when ordering. For custom orders, please fill out our quote form and we'll get back to you with a custom price.

What kind of paper do you use?

All flyers, postcards, and business cards are printed on 12 point card stock with an aqueous or UV coating. Brochures and Posters are printed on either 80# or 100# text weight paper. For shortrun products like individual posters they are printed on a durable photo gloss UV paper. Banners are printed on Scrim and last outdoors for up to 6 months. Our color copier items such as letterhead, color copies, and posters are printed on 70# Offset Opaque (letterhead/color copies) and 60# Cover for the posters.

How long will it take to get my order delivered to me?

Flat aqueous products ship approximately 3 business days after artwork is submitted and paid for. (a 24hour rush is available). If your project requires finishing such as folding, scoring, die-cutting, perforations, or numbering then please allow up to 3-4 additional working days.

UV Coated products take slightly longer due to the extra finishing and usually ship within 3 to 5 business days after artwork is submitted and paid. A Rush is available which will cut 24 hours off the production time.

Since we aim to please we like to deliver all orders locally at no additional cost. Sometimes we have many orders to deliver and we may be backed up. In the event that this happens we will notify you immediately and advise you of the situation and allow you to pick the materials up from our facility.

What file formats can you take?

We accept any Mac or PC rasterized file format. This includes tiffs, jpegs, flattened psds, and eps. If you are going to send an eps, please convert all fonts to curves or outlines. We do not accept Corel Draw, Quark Express files. For further explanation please check out our Art Submission Page.

What types of media do you accept?

We prefer you to email your artwork, however we will accept a Mac or PC CD. We do not accept zip disks.

Is there an extra charge for bleeds?

No. Unlike many other companies, all our prices include full bleeds free of charge. The bleeds should be 1/8" all around.
