Project Outline / Description
The FreQ is a company that makes custom molded earbuds for ipods, cellphones or other devices. When the client first approached us all they had was the name. We took that and ran with it. We developed the logo utilizing the universal POWER symbol as the "Q" in FreQ, which is something everyone can recognize. We developed the logo to have the feel of a backlit or glowing symbol as well as a simple 2d version for practical uses. We chose a bold GREEN as the companies primary color. For the website and marketing materials we chose a very radical, tribal looking approach with jagged edges and a "worn" look. Since the product appeals to all audiences we used images that every demographic could associate with. The overall look and appeal is welcoming to the masses and astheticly pleasing and inviting but
still cutting edge and hip. Marketing includes: web, print, email and guerilla marketing.
